Movies to watch out for in November




The Mahira Khan-Haroon Shahid starrer directed by Shoaib Mansoor promises a gripping story which touches upon the dark sides of our society. Mansoor has proven his directorial strengths in the past with Bol and Khuda Kay Liye which gives us all the more reason to watch this.

This modern remake of Yash Chopra’s 1969 movie by the same name is a murder thriller which stars Siddharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. Promotions for the movies have also been kept low-key so that the plot is not given away.

Tumhari Sulu

Vidya Balan has always impressed us with the unconventional women-centred roles that she does and Tumhari Sulu is no different. In this movie, Balan will be seen as a housewife turned radio jockey and is bound to give us plenty of laughs along with depicting the daily struggles of a housewife.

Murder on the Orient Express

Based on the book by crime-novelist Agatha Christie, this movie is expected to take the viewer on a lavish trip through Europe which quickly develops into a race against time to solve a murder aboard a train on which everyone seems to be the suspect.


Starring Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson, this film centres around a young boy born with a facial deformity. With the help of his mother and father, he attempts to fit in at a new school to show everyone he is just an ordinary kid and that beauty is not just on the outside. The film promises to be a heart-warming family film which will make us question the way we think.
