CPEC project a harbinger of prosperity for Pakistan: Shehbaz Sharif

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) government has promoted a new trend of completing development projects with transparency and high-standards and the resources amounting to billions of rupees have been saved from the development schemes.

Talking to a delegation of PML-N members in London, the chief minister showed his satisfaction on the spread a network of development projects during the last four years of PML-N’s government and claimed that a large number of the people were benefiting from the mega projects.

He further stated that as a result of successful policies of the government, the country has taken off on the road to development and prosperity. China has made a gigantic investment of more than 60 billion dollars in Pakistan under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and this has opened new avenues of prosperity in the country.
