KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that PPP has been made a target of the worst media trial in history and millions of rupees have been spent on this account.
In a message here on International Day to End Impunity for Crimes Against Journalists, PPP chairman said that PPP had condemned the crimes wherever they had been committed against the journalists in the world.
He went on to say that Benazir Bhutto abolished the black laws enacted by the dictatorship against the journalists. “PPP has always endeavoured for full protection to the journalists,” he said adding that “we have always supported freedom of the press and we will continue our struggle till the culprits involved in crimes against the journalists are brought to justice.”
