LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore office on Thursday summoned Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi on November 6 to provide details of assets possessed by the two to the bureau.
According to reports, NAB has launched an investigation against the two PML-Q leaders pertaining to a case of possession of assets beyond known sources of income.
Hussain briefly remained prime minister of Pakistan in 2004 while his relative Elahi was the chief minister of Punjab from 2002-2007.
Hussain and Elahi have both remained close aides of former president General (r) Pervez Musharraf.
