SHEIKHUPURA: Federal Minister for Defence Production Rana Tanveer on Sunday said the government will nip the evil of terrorism in the bud and eradicate it from the country.

He said the US State Secretary Rex Tillerson was clearly told that Pakistan would not compromise on its sovereignty nor it would give its forces under command of anyone else.

He said that entry of Indian drone into Pakistan airspace is a violation, adding that shooting down of Indian drone has made it clear that our technology is modern and invincible.

Denying the rift within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the minister said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s popularity has increased following the court decision.

It may be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif was disqualified by the apex court on July 28 over the charges of corruption.
