LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appreciated the performance of line departments, administration as well as civil and military law enforcement agencies for providing the best security and making foolproof arrangements to peacefully hold the third and final T20 match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at the Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
He said that the Cabinet Committee on Law & Order has won the hearts of the people by making satisfactory arrangements for the people and added that all the concerned departments deserve accolades for it. The holding of this match in a peaceful atmosphere is a victory for Pakistan, he added. Different departments of the Punjab government exhibited the best coordination and worked like a team so that this event could be held peacefully, he said.
Similarly, the administrative offices as well as civil and military law enforcement agencies burnt the midnight oil and performed their duties in complete unison, he said. He said that he has been happy a lot to see joys at the faces of the people, adding that the nation deserves much more joy in the future as well.
