LAHORE: The Airport Security Force (ASF) has foiled a heroin smuggling bid at Sialkot International Airport on Monday.
The ASF officials searched the luggage of a passenger named Ali Raza, a resident of Daska, who was travelling to Doha on a private airline from Sialkot airport. The ASF officials recovered 1153 grammes of heroin from his possession.
The ASF authorities took the heroin into custody and registered a case against her. The cost of the seized heroin was stated to be millions of rupees in the international market. The detainee was later handed over to Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) Force for further investigation.
