Pharmacists’ body urges government to play its roles in healthcare

ISLAMABAD: The newly elected body of the pharmacists on Sunday urged the government to play its legitimate role in the healthcare hierarchy.

The meeting was held body under the leadership of President Rahmatullah Khan of Quetta. Others present included General Secretary Rao Alamgir of Multan, Joint Secretary Faraz Ashraf, Press Secretary Irfan Bashir, Vice President Farman Ullah of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and others.

The members expressed their commitment to play a due role for the resolution of pharmacists’ issues, and their due placement in hospitals and the pharma industry. They also expressed their commitment to support strongly for the accurate prescription of medicines to ailing people.

The pharmacists’ representatives also congratulated newly elected body of Pakistan Pharmacist Association and urged them to make efforts and play a meaningful role for humanity. Islamabad pharmacists’ activists also called upon the newly elected body to play its role for the resolution of their problems.

In the meeting, activists including Farid Khan, Dr Raja Ubaid, Asif, Dr Ahmed, Farid Wazir, Umair, Dr Sidra, Dr Amna Bukhari and others applauded the newly elected body. Ghulam Farid Khan urged the government to issue soft term loans to pharmacies for setting up their medical stores to provide safe medication to the people.
