CHARSADDA: A traffic sub-inspector was shot and injured by excise police in Charsadda on Saturday.
According to details, the traffic sub-inspector, Shahen Shah Khan, was on his way in his private car, when excise police signalled him to stop, but he refused on which the excise personnel opened fire on him in Hari Chand area. As a result, he sustained severe bullet injuries.
The injured was shifted to Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar for treatment.
