MULTAN: Rescue 1122 motorbike ambulance service would be made operational in the city from next week, it was revealed on Saturday.
Rescue 1122 spokesperson Abdul Jabbar stated that all 100 mobile ambulances would reach the city by Sunday. He stated that a ceremony would be conducted next week to formally launch the service.
The spokesperson said that motorbike service would work in two shifts, providing first aid help in case of emergencies and that the staff would be aided by latest medical equipment.
Abdul Jabbar claimed that Multan’s Rescue 1122 Multan responded in an average time of seven minutes to approximately 120 daily distress calls.
The motorbike ambulance service staff would perform their first emergency duty at Bahauddin Zakariya University on Sunday.
