KARACHI: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced the results of Higher Secondary School Certificate part-II annual examinations of private candidates belonging to the humanities group on Friday.
According to the result, a total of 10,517 candidates registered for the examination of which 9,574 appeared in it. The number of passed candidates was 3,225 or 33.66 percent of the appearing candidates.
The result was announced by BIEK Chairman Professor Inam Ahmad on Friday in a ceremony held at BIEK committee room.
Girls score top positions
Girls scored the top three positions of the examination. Syeda Rimsha Kamal secured the first position with 880 marks, followed by Hanya Abuzar with 868 marks, while Rabia Fatima and Insa Malik followed close behind with 854 marks each out of a total of 1,100 marks.
