LAHORE: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a major terror bid and arrested terrorists of a banned outfit here on Friday.
Spokesman of CTD said that on an intelligence tip-off, operation was conducted in Gujarpura area of the provincial capital.
During the operation, two terrorists of a banned outfit identified as Saeed Akbar and Muhammad Akbar were arrested.
The nabbed terrorists were planning for a major terrorist attack in the city but CTD’s timely action foiled the bid.
