LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreeke Inqilab Chairman Aftab Lodhi hailed the stance presented by Pakistan in the meeting with US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, saying that the US cannot undermine Pakistan`s strategic importance and role in regional affairs.
Peace in Pakistan was disturbed by terrorist attacks from Afghan soil, sponsored by India’s RAW, he said. He said that peace in Afghanistan could be ensured only by ending Indo-Afghan terrorist intrusions in Pakistan and by searching a political solution to forming a coalition government with the AfghanTalibans.
He further said that Pakistan was already subject to Indo-Afghan terrorist attacks by India`s supporting of TTP and BLA in KPK and Balochistan provinces and any increased role of India through US in sub-continent would not only further escalate conflicts in the already troubled zone but also push Pakistan closer to China, Russia and Iran.
