ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry on Thursday stated that the only way to deal with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz party head is to continue working under the ambit of law and constitution.
He stated this while addressing the media at the judicial complex prior to the hearing of Maryam Nawaz and Captain (r) Safdar, adding that the party leaders have taken up a harsh tone after being exposed to continued injustices.
“Nawaz has been indicted against the spirit of the constitution,” he said.
Talal went on to add that supremacy of law must always be maintained in the country.
Chaudhry labelled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief an absconder from an anti-terrorism court and election commission of Pakistan.
He stated that PML-N leaders will resist the vision of former president General (retd) Pervaiz Musharraf and his aides being implemented in the country.
Meanwhile, the accountability court on Thursday issued bailable warrants for former premier Nawaz Sharif in two references when the hearing in the three graft references went underway.
