LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has termed Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMCH) as a “cash cow” for Imran Khan.
Addressing the party workers here Thursday, he alleged that SKMH’s public funds/donations were being used by Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) chief for the welfare of his party and family.
In an outrageous claim, Zardari alleged that the women in PTI are all victims of the infamous ‘MeToo’ campaign—which went viral a few days ago in wake of the sexual harassment scandals across the globe—implying that the women of PTI claim to be victims of sexual harassment.
He taunted Imran Khan by calling him “Imran apology Niazi”. He even took jibes against former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and called him a paper tiger along with criticising his current residence in London.
He asked what type of ‘Naya Pakistan’ Imran wanted to make.
He expressed dismay over Sharjeel Memon’s arrest and took shots at Maryam Nawaz and Capt (retd) Safdar’s bail approval. He further questioned Imran Khan’s monetary means and claimed that he has not seen any progress in KP whatsoever.
‘PTI CHIEF LEADING LUXURIOUS LIFE ON SHAUKAT KHANUM’S FUNDS’
Similarly, PPP leader Saeed Ghani also alleged that PTI chairman was leading a “luxurious life” on funds of Shaukat Khanum Hospital.
Reacting to PTI chief’s appearance before Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and pleading for pardon, Saeed Ghani said that it was “time for Imran Niazi to cry”.
He said that Imran should also appear before an anti-terrorism court as the court has already declared him an absconder.
Ghani asked the PTI chief for his source of living, as he lives a lavish life without any known source of income.
“Imran Niazi will have to be accountable for the financial account of Shaukat Khanum Hospital,” he added.
