Painting exhibition of Pakistani artist held in Paris

ISLAMABAD: A joint painting exhibition by Akram Dost, a renowned painter and artist from Pakistan, and Bertrand Bellon of France, was held in Paris from 19 to 24 of this month.

The Ambassador of Pakistan to France Moinul Haque visited the joint exhibition and praised the two artists for creating original works of art. He appreciated their efforts for jointly exploring the commonalities of cultural and artistic values of Pakistan and France.

While taking to the artists, the ambassador said that the joint exhibition of artists from both the countries would contribute further to strengthening the existing friendship and respect between the people of both the countries, adding that such moves would foster more cooperation and better understanding amongst the artist fraternity.

Akram Dost, who hails from Balochistan, had successfully exhibited his art work in Paris along with Bertrand Bellon in the past as well.
