IRELAND: The mother and sister of famoud Pakistan actress Meera have decided to join the Ireland chapter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Meera’s mother Syeda Zehra and sister Shaista Abbas announced their decision during a joint press conference with the president of PTI-Ireland Imtiaz Khan here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Syeda Zahra and Shaista Abbas said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan is the only committed leader who can steer the country out of crises and deal with future challenges.
They stated that PTI will take concrete steps for development, progress and supremacy of merit in the country.
They alleged that Nawaz Sharif and Zardari, in an attempt to cover up their corruption, were weakening the national institutions deliberately by creating rift among them.
“Imran Khan is the national hero and under his leadership Pakistan will soon emerge as a developed country”, they maintained.
