Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Wednesday hinted that controversial TV host and former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) member Amir Liaquat will, in fact, be joining the party.

News of Hussain joining Imran Khan’s party started making rounds after PTI leader Faisal Javed Khan took to Twitter on Tuesday evening, saying “Dr Aamir Liaquat to announce joining PTI at a press conference on October 25 in Karachi.”

It seems Amir Liaquat has changed his stance regarding the PTI and its leadership as a video has surfaced on social media in which the controversial figure can be seen criticising the same party he is adamant on joining now.

In the video Hussain can be seen lambasting party leadership and pointing out to what he considers “hideous face of PTI”.

He went on to say that “no party is backing him and if party leadership do not offer an apology to him for passing derogatory remarks against him, he (Hussain) will keep criticising the party for their ‘wrong practices’”.
