Secretaries, senior officers to monitor MDCAT

LAHORE: The Punjab government has deputed provincial secretaries and senior officers for the monitoring of Medical and Dental Colleges’ Admission Test (MDCAT), scheduled to be held on October 29.

According to the notification issued by Implementation and Coordination (I&C) Wing of Services and General Administrative Department (S&GAD), the Women Development secretary has been deputed at Lahore College for Women University, Jail Road, Lahore.

Secretaries of various departments have been deputed at various test centres. All the secretaries have been directed to reach their respective centre at 8:00 am on the test day to supervise all arrangements and monitor the conduct of MDCAT.

Meanwhile, a training session was organised at the University of Health Sciences (UHS) on Tuesday, for the couriers who would be responsible for conducting the test on Sunday. Addressing the participants, UHS Vice Chancellor Dr Faisal Masud said that new standard operating procedures had been developed and put in place for preparation, printing and transportation of examination material.
