As many as 11 people lost their lives and some 37 others were injured in a deadly traffic accident in Balochistan’s Chaghi district on Tuesday.
As per reports, the traffic accident took place in Laghap area, which is 12km away from Dalbandin.
Levies officials said a Taftan bound passenger bus from Quetta collided with a trailer coming from the opposite side.
As a result, four people died on the spot, whereas another four succumbed to their injuries on their way to a local hospital.
Local tribesmen and Levies personnel reached the spot and shifted the injured, including women and children, to Dalbandin hospital for medical treatment. An emergency was imposed in Dalbandin hospital afterwards.
Moreover, the seriously injured patients have been shifted to Quetta for further treatment.
