LAHORE: In a joint operation conducted by police and Rangers in Naulakha ‘Landa’ Bazaar, 37 suspected of involvement in criminal activities were rounded up.
Following arrests, the suspects’ identification documents were verified through fingerprint biometric verification system, besides conducting detailed interrogation.
Moreover, a door to door search was also carried out in a Bazaar’s hotels, shops, and nearby residential area, that led to the verification of 620 people in all.
As per police reports, after the search operation was concluded, a case was registered in violation of the Temporary Residents Act.
