PTI’s Nusrat Wahid demands strict accountability of Zardari, Nawaz

KARACHI: Sindh Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Women Wing President Nusrat Wahid has said that strict accountability of Asif Ali Zardari needs to be carried out along with Nawaz Sharif.

In a press statement issued here on Sunday, she alleged that through massive corruption Surrey Palace was built and the commission on contracts for Zardari is now 100 per cent, up from 10 per cent.

She went on to say that Larkana development authority highlighted the corruption of billions of rupees and corruption references against Farial Talpur and Asif Ali Zardari should be initiated immediately. She also said that the Swiss cases should be opened for which letters should be sent to the Swiss government on a priority basis.

Nusrat Wahid further said that Nawaz Sharif should face the court of law instead of clashing with the authorities. “This time Nawaz Sharif will be living in jail, not in Saudia,” she mocked.

“Nawaz Sharif, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz and Marium Nawaz – the whole lot will be sent behind bars,” she said and added that all the properties and assets acquired in and outside the country by them will be forfeited.

Expressing hope about 2018 general elections, she said that she is confident about the landslide victory of PTI in the elections, and for the same purpose she is actively and aggressively contacting people in Sindh and in other parts of the country.
