Saad Rafique calls Riaz Pirzada, urges patience

ISLAMABAD: Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique on Friday telephoned Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada and urged him to be patient and careful while making statements.

According to sources, during the telephonic conversation with Pirzada, Saad Rafique discussed with him the situation emerging after his press conference the other day.

Pirzada was of the view that despite reservations, he considered Nawaz Sharif his leader and that his statement was misinterpreted by the media.

Pirzada also raised the issue of the alleged list of Intelligence Bureau (IB) with the railways minister, and said that IB’s list regarding lawmakers was fake.

It may be mentioned here that Khawaja Saad Rafique had played the role of mediator earlier when Riaz Pirzada had stepped down after termination of DG Sports Board.

Saad Rafique said that Riaz Pirzada was his brother, but sometimes lost patience.

During the conversation, Rafique also said that conspiracy of opponents to divide the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) would never succeed.

On Thursday, Federal Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada stated that the ousted prime minister should leave the party presidency and give Shehbaz Sharif a chance until all of the problems disappear.
