Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested two criminals in different areas of the city.
According to police sources, a police team carried out a raid in Malir area and apprehended a drug peddler Waqar. He was stated to be involved in drug peddling in different parts of the city.
Separately, Orangi town’s police detained a street criminal, Saifur Rahaman and recovered weapons from his possession. The accused was also wanted by police in several robbery cases, said police. Police lodged FIRs against detainees and started further investigation.
