ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Saturday that Pakistan wants multilateral and long-term relations with Romania.
The information minister said this during a meeting with Romanian Ambassador Nicolae Goia in Islamabad.
On the occasion, the information minister said that exchanges between the two countries in the fields of film and broadcasting would help people from both the countries understand each other’s culture and heritage in a better way, while adding that such steps would also help in promoting people-to-people contact.
She also said that Pakistan had made significant progress on the economic front, alongside improving the law and order situation in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, Romanian ambassador proposed a journalist exchange programme between both the countries in order to learn from each other’s experiences.
