KARACHI: MQM Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar has said that the Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has included the K-4 project for supply of additional water to the city in the Karachi development package.
Addressing a press conference at the Buhadarbad central office, the MQM head said: “The people of Sindh, particularly Karachi, have been paying huge taxes; however they have received relatively fewer development projects,” he said. He added that PM Abbasi has included the K-4 project in Karachi package which will accelerate the work on the project.
He complained that the government was not issuing cards to those who came to Pakistan after 1971. He mentioned that people being deprived of health and employment were forced to pursue criminal activity.
