SWAT: An earthquake of moderate intensity jolted Swat and its adjoining areas on Friday. The intensity of the quake was measured as 4.4 on the Richter scale.
Per details, a moderate intensity earthquake hit Swat and its surrounding areas, which sent a wave of fear among the residents of the scenic valley.
Soon after the quake hit the area, residents rushed out of their homes and offices and took refuge in safe places while reciting verses from the Quran. No casualties or damage to properties have been reported in any area of the valley in the wake of the earthquake.
