LAHORE: Newly appointed Lahore Corps Commander Lt. General Amir Riaz called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Friday.
The chief minister expressed his best wishes for the newly appointed Corps commander.
Speaking on this occasion, the chief minister said that great achievements have been made in the war against terrorism through a combined decision-making process between political and military leadership.
He said that the entire nation including military and political leadership is on the same page for the elimination of terrorism from the country.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the martyrs are the real heroes of the nation and their sacrifices will not go to waste.
