Three-day moot on business, management to start today

  • Conference aims to bring together leading academicians, research scholars and practitioners for knowledge exchange

LAHORE: A three-day second international conference on the business and management perspective in the Asian context will be held from Thursday (Oct 19th-21).

Organised jointly by the Lahore Business School (LBS) of the University of Lahore and the Society for Asian Management Research (SAMR), the conference aims to bring together leading academicians, research scholars and practitioners from Asia and other regions across the globe for integrative knowledge exchange.

The objective of the conference is to facilitate relationship building through scientific discourse and research collaborations in an ever-changing business and industry vista. Punjab Higher Education Commission Chairman Prof Dr Muhammad Nizamuddin, UoL Chairman Awais Raoof, Pro-Rector Wajeeha Raoof, Rector Dr Mujahid Kamran will also address the conference.

A combination of 12 international and 57 national universities will contribute towards the conference. Dr Alfred M Jaeger and Dr Usman Raja from Canada; Dr Abdul Karim Khan and Dr Marina Selini Katsaiti from UAE; Dr Atika Ahmad Kemal and Dr Tahir Rashid from the UK and Dr Faruk Balli from New Zealand will be among the special delegations. As many as 120 research papers have been accepted, which would be read in three days.
