ISLAMABAD: Sindh Governor Mohammad Zubair’s visit to Margalla Hill residence to meet Maryam Nawaz on Thursday was cut short when the guards stopped him from entering the premises.
Ousted premier Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz is currently staying at the Margalla Hill residence, home of her son-in-law.
The Sindh governor left the premises disappointed but State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Minister Marriyam Aurangzeb convinced him to come back.
Following the indictment of Maryam Nawaz, her husband Captain (r) Safdar and Nawaz Sharif by the accountability court in Avenfield reference, Maryam Nawaz has called a meeting of her inner circle, including Marriyam Aurangzeb, Mohammad Zubair, State Interior Minister Talal Chaudhry and others.
