ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Afghan security personnel in Kandahar.
In a condemnation message on Thursday, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives during the attack.
The prime minister said that Pakistan has been a victim of terrorism and it condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations wherever it is perpetrated.
At least 41 Afghan soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack on an Afghan army camp in the province of Kandahar which began late Wednesday.
Officials said the Taliban carried out two suicide car bombings at the camp, setting off several hours of fighting.
Afghan forces have struggled to combat a resurgent Taliban since the United States (US) and NATO forces formally concluded their combat mission at the end of 2014.
