LONDON: A special team of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is reported to have arrived in London Thursday to initiate investigations in connections with the references filed against Sharif family.

As per reports, the probe team will meet various officials of private and government departments to gather evidence against the Sharif family.

Before the NAB team made its way to London, the bureau addressed a letter to the British authorities and requested cooperation in the investigation.

Ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif, daughter Maryam Nawaz and son-in-law Capt (retd) Safdar are expected to be indicted in Thursday’s graft hearing in connection with the ownership of Park Lane apartments, Al Azizia Steel Mills and offshore companies.  Meanwhile, Nawaz continues to remain in the UK along with his sons Hasaan and Hussain who had earlier been declared proclaimed offenders by the accountability court.
