TANDO MUHAMMAD KHAN: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan opposes the rights of women.

Speaking after attending a Diwali ceremony, the PPP chairman said that he has no personal difference with the PTI chief, adding that “my reservations are with Imran’s policies”.

He further said that democracy can’t survive without accountability. Bilawal said that Imran’s fate will be similar to that of Asghar Khan, the founder of Tehreek-e-Istiqlal, who was placed under a five-year-long house arrest after General Zia postponed the elections in 1979.

In an earlier remark on Wednesday, Bilawal had criticised Imran Khan, alleging that people like Imran use corruption as a slogan.

Addressing a political rally in Hyderabad, he spoke against Imran’s policies, stating that some politicians were yet to ‘come out of the cricket ground.’
