Tribal politician from Kurram Agency calls on KP CM

PESHAWAR: Prominent social and political figure from Parachinar (Kurram Agency) Syed Mujahid Hussain called on the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak at Pakhtunkhwa House Islamabad, and discussed with him the problems being faced by the people of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), particularly those pertaining to Kurram Agency.

Provincial Minister Ali Amin Gandhapur and other Pakistan Tekreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders were also present on the occasion.

Hussain appreciated the efforts of the PTI-led government in KP for the restoration of peace in the province and adjoining FATA. He also discussed the future merger of FATA and KP

with reference to the position taken by the KP government.

He assured the provincial government of his and his supporters’ full support and cooperation

in the larger interest of the people of the country.

Speaking on the occasion, the CM lauded the services and sacrifices of Hussain’s family and elders for the people of the area and expressed hope that they would continue to work for the maintenance of peace and harmony for the people of the region.
