KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Korangi’s leaders and workers on Wednesday visited the Yadgar-e-Shuhada of Karsaz here to pay homage to the martyrs of Karsaz incident of October 18, 2007.
Information Peoples Lawyers Forum Karachi Secretary Rahat Fazal Chaudhry, leader of PS-120 Saleem Ansari and others laid flowers and offered Fateha at Yadgar-e-Shuhada of Karsaz, said a statement.
Speaking on the occasion, they paid a glowing tribute to the leaders and workers of the party who sacrificed their lives in Karsaz incident of October 18, 2007.
It is pertinent to mention here the incident involved an attack on the motorcade of Benazir Bhutto, two weeks prior to her assassination. Hundreds were injured in the accident without about 180 losing their lives.
