LARKANA: The Sindh government has finally posted five lecturers of BS-17 at Naudero Benazir Bhutto Government Girls College after media reports and a surprise visit by Larkana district and sessions judge.

Out of these five lecturers, two are males and three are females and all of them have been transferred from Larkana Government Girls Degree College. They include Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, a lecturer in Physics; Aftab Ali Khuhawar, lecturer in Mathematics; Nazia Mangi, lecturer in Chemistry; Abida Perveen Mangi; lecturer in Zoology; and Marvi Mastoi, lecturer in English.

Notification in this regard has also been issued by Secretary to Government of Sindh College Education Department Pervez Ahmed Seehar and also signed by section officer (HE-I).

All the transferred lecturers have also been directed to join their new place of posting immediately so that education of the girl students does not hinder. It must be noted here that two male lecturers had been posted in the girls’ college, which shows that the college education department faces acute shortage of female lecturers of essential subjects without which proper education cannot be imparted.

The rulers must act without loss of further time to recruit female lecturers of concerned subjects. The parents have demanded that all vacant posts should also be filled with proper hands.
