Two persons were killed in a road accident at Nipa Chowrangi in wee hours on Friday.
According to Rescue sources, two boys Chand, 20, and Ahmad, 14, son of Aslam, were hit by a car at Nipa Chowrangi. As a result, both were severely injured. They were rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries during treatment.
A woman was crushed to death by a speeding trailer-truck on Karimabad Bridge on Friday. According to details, Kiran, 28, daughter of Naveed, was crushed to death by a trailer-truck. Soon after the incident, the area people protested against woman’s death and set the trailer on fire. Police and Rescue workers reached the site and dispersed the angry mob.
The driver fled the scene. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medico-legal formalities.
