KAMRA: At least eight people died and several others were injured in a dreadful road mishap here on Friday.
According to National Highway Authority (NHA) officials and Motorways Police, an over-speeding van crashed into a tree near Kamra in Attock district after the driver lost control of the vehicle during an attempt to overtake another moving vehicle.
Five people died on the spot in the accident while eight others were injured. The rescue personnel shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital where three of the injured people succumbed to their wounds, raising death toll to eight.
