ISLAMABAD: Pakistan High Commission in the United Kingdom (UK), with a view to promote Pakistani artists and their work, has announce a solo exhibition of paintings by artist Veeda Ahmed at the Prince’s School of Traditional Arts in London.
According to details, the exhibition would showcase the artist’s masterful skills as a contemporary painter who used traditional miniature painting techniques and materials in her work.
Veeda initially received art training at The University of Punjab and the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art Oxford University. Later, she went on to study at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts London, where she received a PhD in Persian, Mughal and Pahari drawing and painting.
She is a critically acclaimed artist, having participated in over 40 exhibitions all over the world.
The Pakistan High Commission was hosting the solo art show as part of Pakistan’s 70th independence anniversary celebrations.
