ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday decided to take a legal action against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) ministers and workers allegedly involved in hindering the arrest of retired captain Muhammad Safdar upon his arrival at the Benazir Bhutto International Airport.

The Bureau will also lodge an FIR over the damaged caused to its vehicle during the episode, sources said.

It is pertinent to note here that Safdar was arrested by the NAB authorities, amid hindrance from party loyalists, when the couple, Maryam Nawaz and her spouse Muhammad Safdar, landed at the airport on their way back from London.
