KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Education and Literacy Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar has said that lethargic attitude in education department will not be tolerated and the scope of the biometric system will be spread out to all districts.
The minister stated this while talking to the newly assigned Education Secretary Iqbal Durrani, who called on him in his office on Monday.
He asked the newly assigned secretary to work to enhance enrollment of the students and ensure the posting of the teachers at UCs, talukas and districts as directed earlier.
He also directed to speed up converting schools to solar energy from electricity so that the issues of the load shedding might be solved on a permanent basis. It was also decided that the repairing, maintenance and supply of the missing facilities will be meted out on a priority basis.
The secretary assured the minister that he would utilise all his efforts to put the matters on right track and the things would be better soon. The minister further directed to improve monitoring system to get better results.
