LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister (CM), Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has an unshakeable belief in the finality of Prophethood (Khatm-e-Nabuwat) of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).
Shehbaz Sharif expressed these views while talking to Federal Law and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Zahid Hamid, who called on him on Saturday in Lahore.
During the meeting, the chief minister thanked the law minister for the restoration of oath relating to finality of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) in the nomination papers for the members of parliament. The chief minister also hailed the federal government for taking quick action to rectify the lapse regarding the oath in nomination papers.
The National Assembly had passed an amendment bill earlier to reverse the changes in the oath taken by candidates in their nomination papers, relating to the finality of Prophethood.
