Mercury likely to touch 44 degrees in Karachi

 

Hot weather is expected in Karachi next week as temperature is likely to reach 44 degree centigrade, according to Met Office.

Recent wave of hot weather continued to prevail in Karachi on Friday as the maximum temperature in the city reached 33 degrees.

Next 24 hrs: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions & Gilgit-Baltistan.

Next 48 hrs: Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions & Gilgit-Baltistan.

Past 24 hours weather: Weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Malakand division and FATA while at a few places in Hazara division and Gilgit Baltistan.

Rainfall (mm) during last 24 hrs: KP: Dir 20, Kalam 16, Mirkhani 05, Parachinar, Drosh, Malamjabba 3, Pattan 2, Saidu Sharif 1, Chitral Trace, GB: Gupis Trace.

Yesterday’s highest maximum temperatures: Noorpurthal, Sh Benazirabad 41C, Mithi, Sukkur 40C.
