Govt taking all steps for people’s welfare: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: In a meeting with a 75-member National Security Workshop (NSW) delegation which called on him on Friday at 90 Shahra-e-Quaid-e-Azam, Law Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the government is taking all steps for the welfare of the people.

The delegation was led by Rear Admiral Zain Zulfiqar. Other members of the delegation included senators, MNAs, MPAs, ambassadors, army officers and representatives of civil society.

On this occasion Mines & Mineral Minister Chudhry Sher Ali, P&D Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran, Punjab chief secretary, Home ACS and IGP were also present.

Members of the delegation were informed about the rapid progress in Punjab, the law and order situation in the province, measures related to health reforms as well as good governance. Rana Sanaullah said that under the dynamic leadership of Shehbaz Sharif, the present government is taking all steps to ensure people’s welfare. He said that it is a matter of great satisfaction for us that other provinces are following Punjab’s model for various projects.

At the end of the meeting, the participants posed different questions about the briefings given to them, which were answered promptly by the law minister and relevant secretaries.
