CDA declares two housing schemes illegal, cancels NOCs of three

ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Housing Societies Directorate has declared two housing schemes illegal and cancelled no objection certificates (NOCs) of the mentioned schemes on Thursday.

Per details, the two housing schemes declared illegal by CDA Housing Societies Directorate, included Tele Town Housing Scheme, Mauza Gora Mast Zone-V, and Icon Gardens Apartments Project, Mauza Gogota Syedan Zone-V. It was revealed that the sponsors of these illegal housing schemes did not obtain any approval/NOC from the authority.

Furthermore, the housing directorate also withdrew NOCs for layout plan of three housing schemes, including Soan Garden Housing Scheme Zone – V, Roshan Pakistan Housing Scheme Zone-II, and Pak Medical Housing Scheme E-11. The NOCs for these three housing schemes had been cancelled for not complying with the CDA directions.

The directorate cautioned the general public regarding these developments and requested them to refrain from investing in these schemes in their own interest and to avoid fraud. The directorate also requested the public to visit the CDA website to ascertain legality of any housing scheme before investing their hard-earned money in different housing schemes.
