28 medical officers appointed in LGH

LAHORE: As many as 28 male and female medical officers have been added to the team of doctors at Lahore General Hospital (LGH).

As per the notification of Specialized Health Care and Medical Education, orders have been issued in this regard and these doctors would be working on ad-hoc basis.

Post Graduate Medical Institute Principal Ghias Tayyab has lauded this step and said that induction of new doctors would improve the working of LGH and upgrade the medical facilities. He thanked the chief minister of Punjab and Punjab Health Secretary Najam Ahmed Shah for taken keen interest to help out this institution and provide more doctors for various departments.
