New posters of the upcoming Bollywood movie Ittefaq are out, reports The Indian Express and are nothing if not fantastic.

In the movie, Sonakshi Sinha plays a victim who got accused of being a criminal and Sidharth Malhotra also is trapped in a crime which he never committed. But Akshaye Khanna refuses to listen to them because he is someone who trusts no one and suspects everyone.

Ittefaq starring Sonakshi, Sidharth and Akshaye got three new character posters and the caption written along with them might just send a chill down your spine. “I’m a victim who got accused of being a criminal! Don’t you want to hear my story?!?” wrote Sonakshi as she shared the poster on her official Twitter handle.

And if this was not enough, Sidharth Malhotra too had something to say about his character from the movie. He tweeted, “I am accused of a crime I did not commit! Wait for my story.” And Akshaye’s poster said, “He trusts no one and suspects everyone! He only settles for the truth.”

And last but not the lease, Karan Johar tweets and says “He trusts no one and suspects everyone! He only wants the TRUTH!” about Akshaye Khanna’s character.

Ittefaq is an official remake of Rajesh Khanna’s 1969 release with the same title. The thriller drama was then directed by renowned filmmaker Yash Chopra and also starred the yesteryear beauty Bindu, Nanda and Madan Puri. With the latest details about the movie, we are intrigued to know what transpired on the said night. The tagline of the movie reads, “2 Murders 2 Suspects 2 Versions.”

Talking about the film, Sonakshi in an interview to IANS said, “I have not seen the old Ittefaq. So for me, I am doing a new film. And I am sure a lot of people from our generation have not seen the original ‘Ittefaq’ either. The way film is rewritten and adapted to fit in today’s scenario and time makes it a fresh film. I am looking at it as a new film.”

Shah Rukh Khan, filmmaker Karan Johar and BR Films are jointly producing the project. Shah Rukh had earlier also expressed his wish of starring in the movie but couldn’t because of his date issues. He told indianexpress.com, “I wanted to do the film. I really wanted to do it when I heard the script. But I was doing other films. So, I couldn’t. But the team, which is doing right now, is great.”
