KARACHI: Three people were killed and four others injured when a speeding water tanker ran over two motorcycles and a car on Jam Saddiq Bridge of the metropolis on Wednesday.
Rescue sources said that a fast-moving water tanker crushed two motorcycles and a car on Jam Sadiq Bridge which resulted in the death of 52-year-old man Gul Hassan, 22-year-old Ismail and 22-year-old Haleem Khan were killed on the spot, while four others, Zayan Khan, Ahsan, Danish and Babar, sustained injuries.
One car and four motorcycles were also destroyed in the accident. The police have arrested the driver and lodged an FIR against him.
The bodies and injured were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center for autopsies and treatment, respectively.
