ISLAMABAD: Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon’s latest movie ‘Shab’ has been banned by Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) over explicit scenes and the bold subject matter, according to reports.

In the movie, the renowned Bollywood actress was seen in love with a 13-year-old boy, the major reason behind the ban.

The story is about Mohan (Ashish Bisht), who is an aspiring model ready to compromise to see his dreams come true whereas Sonam Modi ( Raveena Tandon) is a socialite who uses Mohan as a tool to keep her life interesting.

When Raveena was quizzed about the reason behind picking up a role like the one she has, she said “I really wanted to do something challenging and fun. I opted for Shab because Onir is a dear friend and the character which I am playing in the film is something which I didn’t do earlier. It’s a role of a diva but has shades of grey in it and in the film I walk through a very thin line between positive and negative. Onir gave me the other role first but I wanted this role because I have not played such a character before. I was more excited to play the negative part.”
