PTI leaders’ Bani Gala house burgled

–Thief got away with three cell phones, 60,000 cash

A mysterious thief has burgled Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretariat head Aown Chaudhry of his three cell phones and Rs 60,000 on Saturday night.

The thief entered his Bani Gala residence, which Aown Ch shares with Naeemul Haque, at night and managed to escape when PTI leader Naeemul Haque, upon learning of his presence, started calling out for help.

According to an FIR registered by Haque and Chaudhry at Bani Gala Police Station, their Bani Gala house was robbed at night and the thief has gotten away with the phones, which had confidential information regarding PTI chief Imran Khan.

Aown Ch is closest aide of Imran Khan and suspicions have been raised in past about his affiliation with Imran Khan. According to a media report, one of the intelligence even asked Imran Khan to sever his relations with Aown Ch if he wanted to save his reputation for getting damaged. Aown Ch is also responsible for arranging all political meetings of the chairman with the party workers, other political parties, diplomats on a daily basis.
